NRVAC Awards:

Awards are given in two different categories each year:

  • The NRVAC holds a Distinguished Community Competition during the month of June each year.  Properties are judged by three different volunteers outside of the apartment council and the awards are given at the September General Membership meeting.
  • The NRVAC also holds an Industry Award Competition during the months of October and November each year.  Every member is invited to submit a letter nominating one of their peers for an award in one of the five categories.  A panel of outside judges reads the letters and chooses the winners based on all submissions.

2010 PAC Contribution Excellence Award This award was presented to the NRVAC by the Virginia Apartment Management Association (VAMA) at the recent conference in Richmond and is awarded based on the monetary amount of contributions per unit. VAMA Participation of Excellence Award 2008 This award is presented by the Virginia Apartment Management Association to an outstanding member for their contributions and participation on the Board of Directors and Legislative Committee.
